Five Assaults Launched, Five Garrisons Stand Unbroken
A day thick with cannon smoke yielded not a single change upon the map. HEART's Pirate squadrons pressed against neutral Cayo Romano and were sent home wanting, while the NPC Raiders mounted their now-customary mischief at Walker's Cay and Ragged Cay, only to find KP's Spanish colours and HEART's own black flag both immovable. Further south, Great Britain's VALOR clan flung itself at Xpu Ha's Spanish garrison, held fast by PVP, and the pirates of HTMS fared no better before Serrana, where USN's French defenders turned back the assault without ceding an inch. Five battles, five failures for the attacking hand — the Caribbean's boundaries this morning are precisely those of yesterday.
The treasury table registered only a modest shuffle amid this universal defiance. HEART, notwithstanding its rebuff at Cayo Romano, gained a port elsewhere and climbed from sixth to fifth, its tally now ten, while KP slipped a single rung to sixth despite holding its ports steady at nine — a reminder that stout defence alone does not guarantee rank. CFS remains fixed at the summit with twenty-six ports, its first-place standing now unchallenged for a fifth consecutive day, a dominion so settled it has become the season's quiet constant.
