Spain claims Chinchorro; Britain seizes San Lazaro
Two ports have changed hands across the Caribbean in brisk succession.
CFS has wrested
Chinchorro from
Great Britain's
LVTN garrison, hoisting the
Spanish colours over the settlement, whilst
MATDR has claimed the previously unclaimed
San Lazaro, securing it under the
British flag. The twin captures mark fresh jostling amongst the archipelago's principal powers, though no defenses have been mounted and no further assaults remain queued for the coming hours. Battle schedules have meanwhile shifted at five ports:
Concepcion now answers to hour 7 (formerly 4),
Espiritu Santo to hour 13 (formerly 1),
Penzacola to hour 4 (formerly 7),
San Lazaro to hour 9 (formerly 1), and
Jacmel to hour 1 (formerly 10).
In the treasury standings,
CFS has consolidated its supremacy, climbing to twenty-five ports and holding fast to the first rank—a net gain of one holding following today's conquest of
Chinchorro.
LVTN, by contrast, has suffered a notable reversal, sliding two ranks to ninth place after the loss of
Chinchorro, its dominion now reduced to seven ports. The upper echelons remain otherwise unmoved, though the
Spanish clan's ascendancy continues unabated.
