A Thirteenth Day of Undisturbed Peace Across the Caribbean
This office finds itself, for the third time in as many editions, with precious little to record of powder and shot. Not a single port battle concluded since yesterday's dispatch, no colours struck, no walls breached, and not so much as a Raider's longboat troubling the coastline. Nor does the horizon offer any relief for the ink-starved correspondent, for no new sieges have been called and no assaults queued — a stillness so complete one begins to wonder whether the Caribbean's captains have all retired to their hammocks at once.
The treasury table proves no more talkative than the battlefield. CFS sits precisely where it has sat for nearly a fortnight, its twenty-six ports untouched and its rank unchallenged at the summit, a reign that now stretches into its thirteenth consecutive day. No clan rose, none fell, and none troubled the upper ranks enough to earn a mention beyond CFS's own quiet endurance. The counting-houses of the Caribbean, much like its harbours this morning, remain entirely at rest.
