French Fortunes Surge While Rivals Stumble

France has experienced a spectacular reversal of fortune, her net revenues rocketing to nearly 968,000 reals—a climb of more than 167 percent in a single day. OCB, commanding ten French ports, has proven the principal architect of this windfall, the clan's own coffers swelling to almost 960,000 reals. Yet whilst France rejoices, Spain's fortunes have begun a slow descent: her revenue dipped by some 89,000 reals despite her continued dominion over fifty-five ports. NAEP and BUCAN, the stalwarts of Spanish prosperity, maintain their grip, but the momentum that carried yesterday's treasury has begun to falter. The Pirates, meanwhile, have scraped together modest gains. TROP continues to reap the rewards of its sprawling thirty-nine-port empire, though the gains come at the measured pace of a merchant fleet rather than the dash of a corsair. At the lower tiers, the arithmetic has grown unkind: HOOK, NQG, ORDER, and SEAL have all seen their revenues shrink dramatically, their balances now reduced to mere pittances. The peace server remains untrobled by martial disturbance, but the ledgers tell a tale of shifting fortunes—those favored by fate grow fat with reals, whilst others find the spring of their prosperity running dry.
