The Initiation

To earn the Society's certificate you must visit all four nation capitals, all nine freeports, plus the Hidden Islands and Bermuda — 15 ports in all.

When you enlist, Davy Jones assigns you a secret catch — a particular fish — together with an exact price and quantity. At each port, place a buy contract for that many of your fish or the same number of Victory Marks, at that price, while docked there. Within a day of each contract the port is logged. Log all 15 ports and you are admitted to the Society automatically.
